A Little Light
This photo is from several weeks ago, but as the weather has been so gloomy and raw, and now with all the leaves gone…inspiration is lacking. Maybe it will snow soon

I haven’t braved this adventure yet, but it looks like an unbelievably peaceful ride, aside from the occasional turbulence. It’s obviously a way to see some fantastic landscapes and dramatic skylines, like our beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

While visiting Salt Lake there’s always something new to see in the downtown area. This visit I decided to get up early and make my way thru downtown to see what a sunrise would be like. This photo shows the sun making it’s way over the Wasatch mountains.

A detour off the Blue Ridge Parkway worth taking is up to Mt. Mitchell. A wonderful NC state park hosting the highest peak east of the Mississippi. The actual height of Mt. Mitchell is 6′684ft. This is a view from the top parking lot, just below the observation deck. It’s beautiful mountain and a has spectacular view all around you.
