This stream may be small, but at this moment on the Boone Fork Trail, i had a renewed appreciation for the trail. It’s 5 miles take you thru a fantastic mecca of Appalachian perfection.

my husband and i grew up near Bakersville, n.c and we were all over the area from there to the tenn. border and along the blue ridge growing up. after we settled in Hickory, n.c. we love going to the parkway and just riding, getting out and sitting in little cathedrals as I call them. i love moss on anything, anywhere and i can just sit and gaze at this picture for as long as possible and be back for a minute where my heart will always be; in the mountains. keep up the great work i will be watching anxiously for it.
This couldn’t have come on a better day. It is so steamy hot here today and this makes me feel cool. Makes me want to stick my feet in it and just feel the “Ahhhhhh!”. Awesome!
